Under the guidance of our new Director, the City of Topeka’s Human Resources Department is excited to announce that we are seeking qualified applicants for the newly developed Employee Relations Manager position.  This position will serve as the subject matter expert for employee relations matters and is responsible for partnering with employees and managers to ensure consistency, fairness and legal compliance across all departments.  Other responsibilities include complaint and grievance investigation and resolution; researches and recommends policy revision or implementation, and coordination of management and employee training.  Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or closely related field and a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in HR Management.
